Drone Repairing/Technician Course

The course would help stakeholders to identify all drone parts, understand its function, assemble of all the parts, repair of few parts, replacement procedure of parts, quality control inspection of raw material and finished goods. The course would help the technician pickup jobs at various drone companies or even work as repair technicians at various drone hubs.

Duration: Six Months
Total Training Hours: 600 Hours
Entry Qualification: Passed 10th class with Science and Mathematics or a related vocational subject
Minimum Age: 16 years (as of the first day of the academic session)

Safety Training

-First aid and fire safety practices.
-Understanding drone regulations and safety precautions.

Drone Mechanics

-Learning about mechanical parts and aerodynamicse.
-Assembling and disassembling drones.

Electronic Components

-Electronic Components.
-Measuring electrical parameters and recording data.

Batteries and Sensors

-Identifying battery types and charging methods.
-Testing and repairing various sensors used in drones.

Flight Control Systems

-Inspecting and troubleshooting flight controllers
-Calibrating drone gimbals and payloads

Software Troubleshooting

-Debugging software issues and maintaining drones.

Assessment

Continuous Assessment: Ongoing evaluations throughout the course to track practical skills and knowledge.
Final Assessment: All-India Trade Test conducted by DGT to award the NTC.

Pass Criteria

Minimum of 60% for Trade Practical and Formative assessments
Minimum of 33% for all other subjects

Job Opportunities: Work as a Drone Technician, with potential advancement to Senior Technician or Manager roles.
Entrepreneurship: Start a drone service center or training academy.
Further Education: Eligible for advanced vocational courses under DGT.
